Did you know that bamboo is one of the fastest growing plant on the planet? In the right conditions, this stuff has been reported as having grown up to 100cm in one 24-hour period! Here’s to the hope that the giant panda, which munches specifically on bamboo, never starves. Deforestation, however, is another matter entirely.
