Fun Fact of the Day: April 29, 2012

Back to animals with the Aye-Aye. And I’m not misusing pirate slang here. Nope. I’m talking about the threatened omnivorous mammal only found on the island Madagascar. These nocturnal creatures spend their days curled up in ball-like collections of leaves and branches and their nights using echolocation to hunt prey. In fact, aye-ayes are the only primates that use echolocation to get some grub. Cool, right?
